
CITY OF JACKSON ANNOUNCES 2013 AMNESTY PROGRAM
The City of Jackson's Municipal Court Services will offer its
annual Amnesty Program on Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. During the Program, citizens will have an opportunity to pay tickets, court imposed fines and court costs while avoiding warrant and administration fees.
Citizens who pay their fines in full will have additional fees and penalties waived. Individuals interested in payment plans must put down a sizable amount of money on what is owed. Unpaid traffic tickets can result in a suspended license, additional fees and penalties, or an arrest.
Traffic cases and misdemeanors, with the exception of DUI, domestic violence, crimes involving weapons and crimes against another person, can be resolved during Amnesty.To participate, bring photo identification and if possible a copy of the ticket to Municipal Court Services located at 327 E.
